I am currently looking into the costs and requirements for a medical staff to handle 'field emergencies'
Each site will need to address this in thier own design forums, under the general discussion board.
ITEMS Cost of traiing per person Cost of equipment Required equipment State/local laws for EMTs How many EMTs are needed Do you have to have a Dr on site? Whats the distance to the closest ERs Any othe rdirectly pertinent info.
Lets get this figured out! Its an insurance issue.

Most major theme parks do not have a medical staff. What they do have are 'Aid Stations'. Most are EMTs looking for a little extra cash (and good deals at the parks). Some are even medical students.
The center had most of the first aid equipment needed in it with some extra toys for just in case (but they are not a requirement). The funny thing is that some of the EMTs that are working at the theme parks that thier ambluance to work. So you a good chunck of the time you have one there fir just in case.
Still the 90% of the boo boos that are going to happen are scrapes, cuts and brusis. Maybe an alergic reaction or two.

So, we can just get away with getting a couple of the 'security' folks to be first responders and we should be good?
When we have major events, we call the local EMS and ask if they want to bring up thier meat wagon. We offer then a donation, unless they do it for free.
That lowers cost, by at least 50%
