I think the semi's can park with the rvs if they need to stay other then that there is no reason a truck driver should need his own special space. And personally the only reason a semi should be at the resort is to drop off supplies. Last I understood this is a RESORT not a hotel or motel.

As much as I would agree wiht you velaina, I dont. The Rigs take up less room and are self sufficinet for the most part. They can also part alot closer to each other, making more room avail for them and less space required to 'lot' them. And they put off alot of noise to run the motors whent he drivers are 'living inside' at night.
It would be rude to the 'patron guests' that are staying in RV's to have a bunch of rigs next to them.

Being one with a CDL I can speak from experience. Most Big rig drives are going to show little interest in the kingdom. They are out there to make money and stopping to play tourist takes a lot of money out of their pockets. Thos few who do show up are most likely going to be bobtailing (hence no trailer on the back) and they would only take up 2 parking spaces.
What I would STRONGLY advise, is utilities for RVs. These people are looking for a vacation spot and already have almost everything they need. You take 5 acres and add the utilities they are going to need, and you have something that could give a nightly profit, pending on weather. RVers and Boon-dockers do not travel to cold areas.

I hear your point Og. The problem is that I know there willobe rigs with trailers. They may be vendors, or sponsors, large tour buses, or even a performance group.
My mother owns her own tucking business and J-man is a former trucker too. Between the three of us (me, J-man and Og) I think we got this covered well.
Any other thoughts?

Okay solve the problem like they fo at rest areas. there are 2 parking lots, one for rigs and campers who are only staying a day and a car parking lot.
The RV is for those planning on staying a while.
Delivery trucks are going to be heading in a different entrence (the behind the scenes area) and won't be a problem.
As for tour busses, we have a section of the main lot of them (all nice and close to the main entrence)
Boom all the parking is taken care of.
And should we get more people then the parking lot can handle we build UP and add a parking garage.
