I strongly believe that for the effect of this place the rooms should be generally the same accomodations of the Inn at the village, the minor differences would be
- Electical lighting, - Running water for a shower & wash basin, - Mattresses on the 'beds' instead of skins and cloth, - Telephone messages left with the desk
Any thoughts anyone?

I like this "Get away from the world" feel. A facility like this should have all modern conviences, including TV, with a medieval flavor to the decor, rather than a "roughing it" feel (make this a kind of "camper wimp out" area).

This is something I am willing to work out, but I dont want too modern of a feel to it. Biggest things is cost and appearance. I want them to feel like they are roughing it a little. I think it adds to the 'atmosphere' of the site.

ok what hotels to invite, should all of the resorts have same hotel branch, or what ever each resort can get?

lets go with an individual thing. We dont need to be part of a chain. Otherwise they can clai we are part of them.
We want our own name seperate.

They can claim all tey want, and if we complain about it, they can pull out and we are stuck without a 'hotel group'.

You want to have a hotel close to the park buy does not look connected to it. The best thing to do is but a franchise of “Motel 6” or “Super 8” and have it built close to the park, but doesn’t look like it is on the same property. The goal is to have the cheep spenders look around for a budget hotel and choose one of them rather then what they assume would be in the park. This way you also can get drive through as well.
Also you then have the main company cover all the headaches and pains you really don’t want to deal with. It also gives a known name for people to connect with. Sure “The Dancing Pony Inn” may draw a few people but only those who are looking to spend money and children who think it’s ‘cool’. But the money comes from the adults. They want to do everything as cheep as possible, and the above listed hotels scream low cost.
I would rather have 30 rooms filled at $40 a night then 3 rooms at $200 a night any time. I can say this because I’m not the cleaning maid who needs to change the sheets the next day.

Decision is made. Perhaps even we could get them as a sponsor to the local Kingdom. It may bring in more start up capitol.
