One of the things that I am wondering how to get past is the use of electricity in the modern area. In my real owrld job I am a security consultant. Lighting is crucial in a parking lot. Also we need to power the computer and mybe the main gate hotel.
Any thoughts?

Electricity should be available throughout the entire facility, but simply ignored. I don't think you are allowed to build much of a structure without it. Use vanity plates to cover up outlets, to maintain that old-world feel.

I was thinking that a small windmill would suffice for the small location it would be needed. OTherwise its too much to try to worry about and costs would go up for maintenance, emergencies if contacted by water, or other natural things, and whatever. Next there will be people wanting electricity in thier 'home' on site too, again costs are going to sky rocket. Then there is the prob of wisconsin building code if you choose to put it in. Trust me its a mess.

I haven't looked to far into our convoluted building codes, but I've also never seen a structure without electricity. Must be Hand-in-hand.

yeah it is, kind og annoying. trust me. Besides, I dont see a need for electricity. If need be a small generator for keeping beverages cold at the 'watering holes' wold be a good idea.

I was thinking that the cords, generators and fridge units would all be self contained ina special 'box' or 'building' out of the 'public' view.

You are making all of this WAY too confusing. All you do is have several building over 10 feet tall. Have solar panels on top of the roof, but out of sight of the general public. This provides power of batteries for storage. Then when the darknedd comes light sensors turn on the street lights that have flicker bulbs in them to add to the effect of an iol lit light. As for the rest of the stands, of done correctly you can gather enough engery from the solar cells for the stands. Sense mose are computer run, and computers do not run on THAT much power, there shouldn't be a problem. Of course fridges would need more power to run. Still the solar panels would cut costs of smaller things by 1/2.

I am set on habing solar panels available for all facilities on the WI site. I will need to find the 'flame' bulbed lights for some of the locations.
Where to find the panels, batteries, and wiring?

then what of the booths and or vendors that must accept lady of visa and master of card? they would need power of some sort to accept them. or just have it so noone takes them?

Such things (as well as the 'world of Discover') are electronic transactions done via computer, AKA laptop. The power requirements for a laptop are almost nothing, and the connection is via phone (thier cell) or a wireless system (which we do not need to provide). This allows vendors to have access to the net which they need to deal with CC transactions.
Also the parl SHOULD place a few ATMs around the area and have something like a $2 surcharge. For every transaction made made on one of them the parks gets $2.

good idea bout all that. but even airports charge more than $2.00 a transaction. the bristol, wisconsin faire has a $2.75 per transaction. and they is only open 8 weekends. texas ren fest is open 9 weekends and has a $3.50 per transaction at their atm's. but if we is gonna be open year round we could prolly do a $2.50 but then again. its not unheard of for a $4.00 per transaction. which would deterr peoples from using the atms period
