Dungeons and Caves, will there be any? There are many issues to consider with both, mainly with construction costs, and zoning.

Caves - That is something that will need to be addressed when a suitable piece of land is found. As for the dungeons, We are going to plan on not having such, one of the towers of the castle already will have a seperated holding pen, for security purposes.

caves could be there but only if they are part of the natural terrain as far as safety is concerned in my opinion

There is a large degre of uncertainty to natural caves. I think if there is any 'manmade' caves they would be more safe. This is again going to have to be decided once a plot is selected.

I suppose a "dungeon" to crawl through could be set up above ground with panels anyhow. Good enough for larpers. My intent for a dungeon wouldn't be for holding people, that could lead to horrible false imprisonment issues.

I think we can find a way to build a 'special larp castle' that can be taken apart and rebuild in a matter of a day. That would have all the parts you guys want. Draw up some design plans, and submit them if you want. start a new topic under 'wargaming' though for it.

The concept of a dungeon crawl is rather simple.
The grounds are indoors and through a system of holes, poles, covers and wall sections you can create almost any type dungeon crawl you wish. The system is made so it can be changed on a weekly basis (for those who like to try to memorize routes). All it would take is several people and one late evening, then the whole dungeon is changed to a new map.
This allows for people to have a new adventure every week. The money making concept is rather simple. You have a ‘prize’ hidden somewhere in the crawl. Of course the amount is unknown and location it totally unknown to the players. All they need to do is go through the crawl, find the treasure, and get out the exit alive. If none of the characters make it out, then the coin is still there, and they get nothing.
Should the party get through alive and find the money (park coin), then it is theirs to do with as they please, this includes dividing it up among themselves.
Because it is indoors, weather and darkness (or light) is not a problem. We control the environment, and the hours of play. Also due to the small size it isn’t going to eat up a lot of the park. Maybe 3 to 4 acres at most. It can also turn a profit on ha hourly basis
