With the type of business we are attempting to put up there are several things to consider. One of these things is employment. In all honesty, I dont care what a persons background is, at the kingdom they are all welcome. There should be some restrictions though. Sex offenders are required to be listed somewhere and obviusly we cannot hire escaped or evading fugitives.
I want to think of this place as a way for everyone to escape from thier reality. While they are here they can be who they really are or supposed to be. (within realistic expectations).
Where does everyone stand on this?

Another aspect we need to consider is 'just compensation'. What the heck are we going ot pay these folks, or how?
The vendors will get thier take from thier business. The Guests and organizations will geth thiers from thier system.
What really nees to be figured out is the live on help that will care for the lands, the animals and the 'modern areas'.
Any thoughts here too?

I'm checking into the local laws, so I have no idea on Oregon and such. Here in WI we can go lower than min wage if we offer other beneis that equal up to atleast min wage. Such as living onsite., reduced or free meals, the works.
Any thoughts on that?

One word: “Internship”
You can easily place an opening for internships. This means that you get young business like people who are wanting to learn the business. You can pay then below the national min wage and release them when they are not needed.
You could also use the Collage Credit option as well. Some schools well accept working at an establishment for a semester to be a collage credit. This means that again you can pay below the national min wage.
